As a young woman teaching school in her early twenties, I never felt particularly empowered. Nine years later, tired and jaded, I left the guaranteed salary behind and started at zero in commission sales.

That is when it hit me. I was in charge of what I created in life. Would I have been a better teacher if I had known all this “you become what you think about” stuff back then? Absolutely! Was this the missing piece in education?
